Week #4

Week 4 belonged to the BeaudoinBrothers, who won with 167 pts and became the 4th different weekly winner of the season.  Unsurprisingly those 4 winners occupy the top 4 spots in the standings so far. Dec finished 2nd at 155.75, Old took 3rd at 149, and Bas followed its historic 222-point week with 144.5 and 4th, rounding up the top 4 this week and also matching the top 4 of the standings. The Admirals collapsed from three straight top-five finishes to last place with 95.75 which was the biggest change compared to the first three weeks. The cumulative race tightened at the top: Bas and Old are both 31-9 while Beaud moved to 30.5-9.5 and Dec to 29-11. Only 2.5 games now separate the top four.

The BeaudoinBrothers won Week 4, their first weekly victory of the season. CeeDee Lamb led the league's winning lineup with 32, Chuba Hubbard added 23.75, rookie LB Jacob Rodriguez scored 18, Brock Bowers had 17.25, and the Minnesota defense supplied 14. Beaud survived Ladd McConkey's zero after McConkey was hurt during the game, and only 4.25 from D'Andre Swift who was benched by the Bears after a lost fumble. There was decent scoring on the bench: Rhamondre Stevenson scored 14.25, Jack Campbell 15, Kamari Lassiter 11, who all outscored starters. Nonetheless coaching efficiency was much better than week at 83.92% than earlier this season, and depth is much easier to discuss after a win. Beaud has finished 6th, 4th, tied 2nd, and now 1st so the general direction is up, and the team has now moved within half a game of the league lead.

The Decepticons rebounded from 7th in Week 3 to finish 2nd with 155.75 pts. Kyren Williams scored 25.5, Jonathan Taylor added 19.5, Patrick Mahomes II had 19, and Zay Flowers produced 19.75. That core covered for the New Orleans defense's ugly -0.5 on MNF which cost Dec the win as Dec was projecting ahead of Beaud after the Sunday games. Bryce Young's 24 on the bench would have beaten Mahomes by five, while Brenton Strange, the Chargers defense, Robert Spillane, and Makhi Hughes also represented smaller possible gains with a different starting lineup. Even so, Dec posted a strong 89.90% coaching efficiency mark. The finish lifts Dec to 29-11, just two games behind Bas and Old.

OldNo7 finished 3rd with 149 pts, despite pedestrian games from superstars Smith-Njigba and St.Brown who only scored 8.75 pts and 11.75 pts, respectively.  Old had WR T McMillian on the bench scoring 35 pts and climbing to WR11 in the PQBFL so in an 11-team league that means Old now has three WR1 on their team and should be able to gloss over the upcoming byes with more ease than other teams, at least at WR.  This week some guys who carried the load instead of WRs were Javonte Williams who scored 23.25, Jared Goff had 18.5, Will Reichard added 14, George Karlaftis scored 13.5, and the Chicago defense did their job with 12.5. Old also left some points on the bench such as Tucker Kraft's 14.25 which beat Tyler Warren's seven, and L'Jarius Sneed's 8.5 was available over Trent McDuffie's two. Old is now tied with Bas at 31-9.

The GloriousBastards followed the greatest week in franchise history with a steady 144.5 pts and 4th place. Bijan Robinson scored 27.5 on MNF to save the team from a lower finish, Brock Purdy had 22.5, Sam LaPorta added 17, and Derrick Henry scored 12.75. It is worth nothing that Purdy currently ranks QB1 in the league ahead of Josh Allen (Adm).  The Bas defense was balanced rather than spectacular: Fred Warner and Xavier Watts each scored 10, DeForest Buckner had 9.5, and Demetrius Knight Jr. added seven. Bas had almost no damaging starting lineup errors. Mike Evans' 8.75, Jacksonville's seven, Tyler Bass' 6.5, and Terrel Bernard's seven were the only possible bench improvements if they had started, leaving just 9.5 pts outside the 154 maximum possible. The resulting 93.83% was the best coaching efficiency in the league for the week. Bas and Old share a 31-9 record, but Bas retains 1st because they have massively outscored Old on average with 167.8 per week for Bas vs only 152.9 for Old.

ProfessorMJ took 5th with 142.25 pts, powered by Ken Walker III's 29.75 who continues to be red hot and even outscored monsters Bijan (Bas) and Gibbs (Adm) so far this season to sit pretty at RB1 in the PQBFL after 4 weeks with an average of 24.4.  Also another big contributor this week was Ernest Jones IV's 21. Tyler Shough added 14.75, Ka'imi Fairbairn and Kyle Hamilton each scored 12.5, and Tony Pollard had 10. The lineup was less successful at receiver positions: Jordan Addison, George Pickens, and Dalton Kincaid combined for only 13.5. On the bench Malik Nabers scored 18.5, Jaylen Waddle 12.75, and Kyle Pitts Sr. 5.25, while Kyle Monangai's 25 would have been a major upgrade over starter Pollard. The team holds 5th overall at 24-16 but with bye weeks coming up things could get rough considering the number of positions where Prof only drafted one player.

FlyingElvis finished 6th with 141.75 pts, and Drake Maye finally answered after three weeks of abuse with 27.25, considering he only scored 10.5 total through Week 3, Maye was the best player in the lineup and helped FE recover from consecutive 10th-place finishes. T.J. Watt scored 16, Demario Davis 14, Chris Olave 13.75, Seattle's defense 12, and rookie Carnell Tate 11.75. J.K. Dobbins contributed five as the replacement for injured Travis Etienne Jr. The bench showed useful defensive depth even though they did not start: Tuli Tuipulotu scored 18, Nick Emmanwori 16.5, and Jordyn Brooks 14.5. FE is now tied with Bett at 14-26. Maye still has a deep hole to escape, but Week 4 was the first real sign of life.

WaxOnWaxOff finished 7th with 128.75 pts so the good week 3 result was short lived with Wax back in the bottom half of the standings. Joe Burrow scored 18.25, Will Anderson Jr. had 16, George Kittle added 15.5, and Jaylen Warren scored 12.5. Wax's starting defensive group was the strength of the lineup: Anderson, Blake Cashman, Jihaad Campbell, Budda Baker, and Buffalo combined for 50.5. There was even more defensive depth on the bench, where Edgerrin Cooper scored 17 and Foyesade Oluokun 16. Kenyon Sadiq played but produced a big fat zero after his stellar 19.25 pts in week 3. The team is 16.5-23.5 after four weeks and looks unlikely to be able to absorb the long-term loss of De'Von Achane to injury.

BetterBallers took 8th with 124.25 pts so this team has been incredibly consistent finishing 7th 7th 8th 8th. Lamar Jackson scored 19.75, Tee Higgins had 18.75, James Cook III added 14.75, and Drue Tranquill and Cooper DeJean each scored 11.5. The lineup's biggest problems were Leonard Williams' one point and MarShawn Lloyd's 3.25, but the most costly miss was at receiver: Nico Collins scored 24.75 on the bench while Luther Burden III started with only 7.5. Green Bay's defense scored 12 compared with Pittsburgh's 4.5, and Greg Rousseau's 11 also offered a possible defensive improvement. Four straight lower-half finishes have produced a 14-26 record, tied with FlyingElvis, and the useful bench depth has not yet translated into a breakthrough week.

The Ballers finished 9th with 117.75 pts, which was their second-best total of the season. T.J. Hockenson led the starting lineup with 18.75, Quinshon Judkins scored 14.5, Jameson Williams had 11, and both Cam Little and the Rams defense added 10. The bench alternatives were substantial and Ball not submitting a lineup this week was costly: Puka Nacua was no the bench and scored 20.25, Ollie Gordon II 16, Sam Darnold 15, and Reed Blankenship 11. Starting those four over weaker options would have moved the lineup much closer to its 149.75 maximum. Instead, Ball posted 78.63% efficiency and remained in the bottom three for the fourth straight week. The 4-36 record is now the worst in the league, one game behind FEF, although this week's 117.75 at least showed more competitive roster production than the 79 and 88.5 scored in Weeks 1 and 3.

FlyEaglesFly finished 10th with 105 pts, continuing a miserable opening month. Jamien Sherwood scored 17.5, Jalen Hurts had 15, Christian McCaffrey added 12, and Rome Odunze scored 10.5, but Saquon Barkley finished at -0.5 and got hurt, also Dalton Schultz produced only 2.25. The bench contained clear possible upgrades: Aaron Rodgers scored 23.75, Keon Coleman 18.75, Laiatu Latu eight, and Cade Otton 5.75. Of course benching Hurts over the ancient A Rodgers would raise eyebrows but so far Hurts has only outscored Rodgers by 2.0 pts per week so when the matchups are favorable it might not be out of the question to go with Rodgers who are throwing a lot more in 2026 than they did in 2025.  In any event, for FEF the weekly finishes of 9th, 11th, 9th, and 10th have produced a dismal 5-35 record. The roster has enough isolated good scores to do better, but the starting lineup continues to miss too many of them.

The Admirals crashed to last place with 95.75 pts after opening the season with three consecutive top-five finishes so they took it on the chin and dropped out from what used to be a clear top 5 teams in the league, now Adm has much ground to make and such rock bottom performance such as this week is hard to recover from. Josh Allen scored 16 and Alex Singleton 15, but no other starter reached 13. Rashee Rice was hurt during the game and scored zero, while Parker Washington and rookie Demond Claiborne combined for only 2.5. The bench had better production : C.J. Stroud scored 24.5, Romeo Doubs 19.75, Tykee Smith 10. LB K Elliss missed the game to injury and substitute DB Kevin Byard III scored only 3.5 as defensive flex. Adm left a league-high 48.25 pts on the bench out the 144 maximum and posted the week's lowest efficiency at 66.49%. The disaster dropped the team from 3rd to 6th overall at 21-19.
