The BeaudoinBrothers won for the first time of the season with their best score of the season .  The BBs were trailing Wax by a large margin before MNF but the Eagles squad took care of business on the last game of the week.  Upstart WR DeSean Jackson scored two long TDs despite touching the ball only twice all game.  The Eagles defense was all over the Skins and added another TD, 4 turnovers, and 6 sacks.  DL Trent Cole got two of those sacks to cap the rally against Wax.  Cole is the second best DL this season, behind Jared Allen (Old).

WaxOnWaxOff saw the first place slipped due to the BBs comeback.  Wax had a great week nonetheless with 162 pts.  Wax was boosted by the performance of DB Leon Hall who had 2 INTs against the Bears and scored 20 pts.  The only reason Hall started for Wax this week is because Ray Lewis was on bye.  Hall's best game of the year was timely.  College QB Kaepernick had a monster game of 15 pts for Nevada .  Not only did Kaepernick score 6 TDs with no turnover, but he rushed for 230 yds to go along his 178 yds passing.  P Rivers was Wax's top scorer this week with 29.25 pts.  Rivers has now cracked the top 10 QB in the league but still trails behind Flacco which gives headaches to Wax's coach when he has to decide who to start because Flacco refuses to slow down.  The decision was easy this week with Flacco on bye.

The Dugongs had a middle of the road performance for the sixth straight week.  This is not going to help Dug go anywhere in the standings, and Dug languishes in 4th place.  Dug's top performers this week were the usual suspects: A Rodgers, A Peterson, Steelers D, and to a lesser extent this week, L Fitzgerald.  With RB Kevin Smith on bye and McFadden injured, Dug was forced to start Jamal Lewis and he stunk with 3.75 pts.  At the rookie position, Dug got another bad game with 2.5 pts from B Scott.  However, the good news is that Shonn Greene emerged with 24 pts on the bench, taking advantage of the injury to Leon Washington.  S Greene could fill Dug's biggest weakness of the season so far and could help Dug a lot down the road.

UncleJack was finally able to avoid the bottom 3 this week, finishing 5th - the team's highest finish of the year.  This happened despite UJ's coach starting two players on bye week, therefore giving a free rank-point to Dug and FE.  Fire this coach!

JakesBlues finished 6th this week and was caught by FE in the standings and could soon fall to 8th place.  Even though the Saints scored over 40 pts (again), D Brees did not have a great game due to 3 INTs, 1 fumble lost, and one other fumble not lost.  Despite all the fireworks, Brees fell to 4th best QB in the league.  At RB, B Jacobs was finally able to find the end zone, but the other starter Felix Jones is just a backup (in fact he might be RB3 for Dallas behind Barber and Choice) and cannot score much.  Jones only rushed for 37 yds and also fumbled.

OldNo7 lost by slightly over one point against JB and finished 7th.  This put an end to Old's good 3-week run which saw the team move closer to the top during that period .  Old was let down by Matt Ryan who had 2 TDs but also had 3 turnovers.  At WR, Old's coach started Breaston, thinking that Boldin was banged up and that Breaston would see considerable playing time.  Unfortunately Breaston only caught one pass while Hester scored 15 pts on the bench.  On the bright side, the Jets blanked the Raiders and scored 19.5 pts on defense. Old's problems at the rookie position continue, he Old only got 2 pts out of Orakpo who had had a few decent games prior to this week.

Similar to Beaud and Wax last week, Dec crashed after sitting atop the standings.  Dec had finished in the top 3 for five straight weeks, but could not keep it up .  Cutler was very shitty in Cincy with 5 turnovers, franchise player A Johnson only caught 2 passes out of 20 completions by Schaub (huh?), Cooley was injured after scoring 2 pts, and LB D Harris who had been playing above his head so far (2nd best LB after 6 weeks) only got 3 tackles due to lack of opportunity against the Raiders.  Dec's top scorer was the Colts defense which got 20 pts by dominating the Rams.

Similar to Dec, the Spitoons had been making a comeback in the standings after finishing last in week 2.  Spi finished between 1st and 5th for four straight weeks, but went back to the cellar like in week 2 by being limited to less than 100 pts.  This hurt Spi who fell to 6th in the standings.  Spi's RB duo of Westbrook and Forte has a BIG bust.  Westbrook sucks and got a concussion to top it off.  Forte is not injured but plays like a handicapped RB.  He only scored 5 pts this week and he's only 28th best RB in the PQBFL.  Oh wait, that's better than Westbrook who is 29th .  The Spitoons' GM like the Browns and historically has drafted the Browns defense for loyalty, particularly since Spi has the Ravens D so the GM knew the Browns would not be necessary.  Well that's true, except for when the Ravens are on bye like they were this week so Spi started the Browns.  That did not turn out too well when the Browns allowed 31 pts and 460 yds to the Packers and did not even get a sack, a turnover, nothing.  That performance was worth -3 pts so the Ravens outscored the Browns once again.

Note: sometimes the NFL announces stats changes and according to PQBFL rules, the results are not totally official until Sunday 1pm Eastern.
