In this upside down week, the Decepticons were the huge winners .  It is very rare that the top two teams in the standings finish last and next to last, but it happened this week and the 'Cons benefited by finishing second and jumping to first place in the standings by a large 5-rank point margin.  Dec was able to get over 150 pts this week despite the best defensive player in the league P Willis being on bye.  LBs David Harris and K Morrison did well in his absence with 19.5 pts and 11 pts.  RB Thomas Jones also did well with Ronnie Brown on bye with 26.75 pts.  The other RB Slaton was once again limited to minimal gains on the ground, but he had over 100 receiving yards and scored a TD on a reception.

OldNo7 finished in the top four for the third week in a row and moved to only 2 rank-points away from second place .  All six key offensive players scored in the double-digits, from D Williams' 26.25 pts to S Jackson and D Hester's 10.5 pts.  OldNo7 was not too affected by the injury to Calvin Johnson who missed the game.  On defense, Old has the best 3 DLs in the PQBFL: J Allen, Ju Peppers, and R Mathis.  They are performing at such a high level that Old can afford starting a DL as the defensive flex position.  Allen and Peppers once again scored big, combining for 29 pts.

The Spitoons, similar to Old, had a 4th straight week of relative success, finishing 4th this week and moving to only one point away from 2nd place.  WR Welker benefited from the Patriots' bonanza against the Titans, catching 10 passes and scoring 2 TDs.  Rookie LB Cushing continues to make some noise, adding 21.5 pts to an already strong season start. He is surprisingly the top rookie in the league so far .  Spi could have finished higher in the standings if it was not for bad games from Forte  (2 pts), the Ravens Defense (-1 pt), and Beason (4.5 pts).  Note that Forte has been one of the biggest busts of the year.  He was taken second overall in the draft and he currently ranks 29th best RB.

The JakesBlues finished 5th this week, their best effort since the week #1 win.  However JB remains firmly in the bottom tier, far below Dug which is 6th in the standings.  Brees had two huge games in weeks 1-2 but had been quiet since.  However in week 6 he woke up, throwing for 4 TDs and scoring 36.75 pts .  Ray Rice also had a monster game with 30 pts.  The Packers defense made the headlines by taking advantage of the Calvin Johnson-less Lions and got a shutout.  Otherwise, JB's lineup was very up and down.  Brandon Jacobs was horrible again, scoring only 2.25 pts despite the Giants moving the ball easily against the Saints.  Jacobs got outscored again by backup A Bradshaw.  At WR, Santana Moss only caught one pass in the middle of the offensive mess in Washington.

The Dugongs had a good week with 137.25 pts, but since this was the highest scoring week of the year, this was only good for 6th place and Dug slipped to 6th place in the standings, although not very far from 2nd place.  QB Rodgers did well against the Lions, but he only threw for 2 TDs as the offense stalled on several drives.  Franchise player Peterson finally got 100 rushing yards, something he had not done since week 1.  However he did not score a TD so it prevented him from having a big game .  Dug's best performer was L Fitz with 24 pts.  Fitz has justified his high draft status so far, ranking 2nd best WR after six weeks.  Dug took a risk by starting old man T Holt but it did not turn out too bad since Holt caught 5 passes for 101 yards.

UncleJack finished in the red for the third straight week, and for the fifth time in six weeks.  UJ's best result was 6th place in week 3 - purely shitty results from this puke team .  P Manning was on bye and this meant disaster for UJ.  Cassel only scored 6 pts against the Redskins.  First round pick Chris Johnson was benched again, but this time with success, with backup L Washington outscoring him 12 pts to 10.5 pts.  UJ was playing with fire.  The only two bright spots were rookie H Nicks scoring 18.5 pts and moving up to second best rookie in the league, and the Pats defense crushing the Titans.

WaxOnWaxOff was unable to benefit from Beaud's horrible week, by having an awful 116.25 pts this week.  This was Wax's second straight week in 8th place and raises serious questions that were put aside when Wax won two straight weeks earlier this year.  Besides R Moss' 34.25 pts, all other 4 WRs on Wax's team are shit, led by overrated T Owens.  This dude is not justifying his high salary .  At RB, MJD still does well and scored 26.75 pts.  But now that Parker is back to health, Mendenhall has to share carries and it shows in the box score.  On defense, the Vikings were surprisingly bad at home against the Ravens, almost dropping the win late in the 4th quarter.

The BeaudoinBrothers crashed to last after 5 weeks of consistency.  The BBs failed to reach 100 pts, something that had not happened since the irrelevant week 17 of the 2007 season.  We would have to go back to the imfamous week 16 of 2006 when the BBs dropped the championship at the hands of the Spitoons to find a performance below 100 pts, and even then the BBs did better than 79.75 pts.  The last time the BBs did not reach 80 pts was week 12 in 2003 when defensive players were not even in the league.  The BBs were inept across the board, with only the stupid kicker reaching 10 pts on the useless MNF game.

Note: sometimes the NFL announces stats changes and according to PQBFL rules, the results are not totally official until Sunday 1pm Eastern.
