The Spitoons won for the second week in a row and for the third time in six weeks to increase their lead in the standings to six rank-points, the highest lead they have had all year.  With only 4 weeks left, the Spitoons are dangerously close to getting the 10 rank-point lead which has never been surmounted ever.  The Spitoons keep on rolling without a rookie.  Michael Bush is now a fullback so Spi is not expecting anything.  Also, Spi played another week without Reggie Bush.  This week, Romo and Westbrook starting this off with 7 TDs on Thanksgiving and the Spitoons continued pushing the machine on Sunday.  Spi's LBs continue putting up eye-popping stats with Harrison+Willis scoring over 40 pts together .  The Ravens defense was dominant once again with 21 pts.  The hold a comfortable lead over all defenses in the PQBFL in front of the Bucs (JB).

The Decepticons came back to life with a second place, but lost another rank-point to Spi.  It looks like the Decepticons can only hope for second place this season.  Thomas Jones had a huge game against the Broncos with 2 TDs and 150+ yds from scrimmage.  Believe it or not, this ancient man is leading all RB in the PQBFL through 13 weeks.  Who would have thought!   Thomas Jones declared after the game that if the Decepticons do not franchise him, that he will be the first player taken in the draft in 2009.  That remains to be seen .  In that same Denver-Jets game, Cutler threw for over 350 yards and two scores, connecting with rookie Royal on one of those TD passes.  Dec could have finished first if RB Ryan Grant had done better than his 3.25 pts.  Grant was stuffed by the Panthers defense before getting injured.

The BeaudoinBrothers still lead the league in total scoring but keep slipping in the standings.  In normal circumstances 172.25 pts is good for a first place, but not this week.  The BBs were keeping up with the Spitoons on Thanksgiving with 7 TDs from McNabb, L Fitz, and Witten.  However Beaud slowed down on Sunday, led by the king of all chumps: Randy Moss.  This loser scores when the BBs don't need him to, but he sucks when points are important. Moss was useless against the Steelers this week.  On MNF, rookie Steve Slaton tried to pick up the slack and scored 2 TDs but it was too little too late for Beaud.

Wax had their highest score since week 4 with 156 pts.  Unfortunately this was the highest scoring week of the season so it was not enough to finish in the top three.  Wax even fell behind Dec in the standings.  Even though Wax is now 6th, the middle of the standings are so close that Wax is only 2 rank-points away from 3rd place.  This week, Wax can blame MJD who only scored 2.75 pts.  QB P Rivers also has to look at himself in the mirror.  The Chargers lost another game, this time at home against the Falcons.  What a wasted season for the Chargers.  Even though Rivers is 5th best QB in the PQBFL which is quite respectable, since being acquired from Spi he's barely top 10 QB.  Giving up T Gonzalez and P Willis in that trade was too much and other teams in the league are grumbling that Wax gave the championship away to Spi with this trade.  In fact, a few days ago, the Dugongs requested this trade to be retroactively vetoed.

The Dugongs had another mediocre week with a 5th place and fell 11 rank-points behind Spi.  A Rodgers and M Forte did most of the work with 4 TDs together and purple Jesus added another one on Sunday.  At DL, Justin Tuck scored 15 pts and it is worth mentioning that he quietly leads all DLs in the PQBFL.  He was a bargain pick in the 11th round.  The problem for Dug this week was the lack of production by WRs.  TJ Housh did not do much against the Ravens and Lee Evans did ok with 7 rec for 80 yards but he did not score.  RB Gore was pretty bad with only 66 rushing yards and two fumbles - one lost and one not lost.  After the game, the Dugongs' coach pulled his pants down and showed his butt to Gore to describe the way he played this week.

FlyingElvis had their worst showing in four weeks with a 6th place.  FE had been the hottest team from week #10-12 but could not sustain it.  Just like the Dugongs, FE fell significantly behind Spi and will most likely have to fight for 2nd place.  After scoring 75 pts in two weeks, Cassel was dreadful against the Steelers with -5.5 pts and turning the ball over 4 times.  Most of Cassel's production this week was when he scored a point on a tackle after one of his turnovers.  FE was able to compete with other top teams this week thanks to DeAngelo Williams who scored 4 times from the 1-yard line.  The Titans defense was also dominant with one TD, 3 turnovers, 4 sacks, and only allowing 154 yards to the Lions.  Anybody who bet on the Lions against the Titans on Thanksgiving should find a new hobby.

The JakesBlues finished 7th but beat Old by two spots so they moved closer to 8th place.  JB still have a decent chance of not finishing last this season which would be quite an accomplishment for the expansion team.  Jared Allen was JB's top scorer of the week with 21 pts.  The Giants defense also did quite well, holding the Skins to only 7 pts in an emotional game in memory of Sean Taylor.  Even Justin Fargas scored a TD for JB this week.  However, the other RB Joe Addai did nothing in Cleveland and if it was not for the Colts defense scoring a TD, the Colts would have lost this game, in part due to Addai.  At WR, JB was terrible with only 12 pts total for S Moss and A Randle El.  Starting 2 WRs from the same team is usally not great, but when the coach is as conservative as Zorn and the opponent is the Giants then it's not promising.  S Moss is 13th best WR in the PQBFL, but JB does not have anybody else in the top 25 WR of the league.  Awful!  Chad Ocho Stinko ranks 28th.

UncleJack got confirmation that its players are not dead this week with an 8th place.  Unfortunately, by getting crushed by Dec and Wax, UJ now has almost no hope of finishing 6th in the standings.  All UJ can do is hold on to 7th place.  Even though P Manning was not dead this week, he might as well have been because he scored negative points against the Browns.  .  The Steelers defense and D Mason were UJ's best in week 13 with 17.5 pts each.  Rookie D Keller continued his good streak with 10.75 pts this week.  But UJ sucked this week not only because of P Manning, but also due to RBs.  Jamal Lewis and Ricky Williams combined for 11.5 pts.  UJ is as bad at RB than JB is bad at WR.  UJ's best RB is barely in the top 20 but is injured (E Graham RB20).  After that, Leon Washington is 0.04 pt per game from being the best healthy RB on UJ's team, just behind Jamal Lewis.  When your top healthy RB is a backup on his NFL team, you are desperate.

OldNo7 failed to score 100 pts for the third time of the year and finished last for the third time of the year.  The only player with any trade value on Old's team is A Boldin and he only scored 4.5 pts, fumbling the ball twice and losing one of those fumbles.  It was the first time of the season that Boldin did not score double-digits.  No other player had been so consistent.  The king of inconsistency B Favre only scored 4 pts at home against the Broncos.  At RB the diaper-man Larry Johnson showed sign of life, scoring a short TD and rushing for almost 100 yards.  Well that was against the Raiders so let's not get excited here.  On defense, the Bears were not recognizable and only scored one point against the Vikings, losing the game 34-14.
