The Decepticons won for the first time of the year with the lowest winning score (138.25 pts) since week #5 last year when the Cons themselves won with only 132 pts.  The only player to have a good game for Dec was S Holmes who benefited from H Ward’s injured to score 2 TDs.  Dec was able to pull off the win because in this very low scoring week, none of Dec’s players scored less than 6 pts except for the college player.  So Dec had decent games all around and everybody contributed.  This win was somewhat unexpected because with franchise player Brees, Colston, and Cooley on bye, A Johnson injured, Dec did not expect such a good result.  Maybe Brees on bye is actually a good thing for Dec .  McNair scored 12 pts this week, which is better than Brees’ negative points.

UncleJack had a good shot at the win this week but fell asleep at the wheel on MNF and almost even fell down to 3rd place .  Chad Johnson was crushed by TJ Housh on Monday with only 5.5 pts compared to 20.75 for Housh.  During that MNF game, Madieu Williams and Adalius Thomas did just enough to secure second place with 9 pts each.  UJ had a huge game from Romo who started instead of P Manning.  This turned out to be a great call because Romo outscored P Manning 38.25 pts to 26 pts.  TE Gonzalez had his best game of the year with 15.5 pts and he moved up to 5th best TE in the league.

The BeaudoinBrothers had a rough week and were caught in a battle with FE, Old, and Dug for ranks 3-6 on MNF.  TJ Housh came up big to help the BBs to beat their opponents and the BBs almost finished second, losing to UJ by only a quarter of a point.  The BB coach was pissed at the scorer of the Pats-Bengals game because a reception by TJ was ruled to be a lateral pass from Palmer.  This cost the team second place.  What a rip off!  There are rumors that UJ might have bribed the game scorer .  On Sunday, most BB players struggled to get going, with the Steelers (Roeth, Parker) and Chargers (LT, Gates) both losing to supposedly easy opponents.

FE should consider themselves lucky to escape with a 4th place despite a season-low 121 pts.  FE barely beat Dug by 2 pts and Old by 4 pts.  Brady did ok on MNF with 20.5 pts but the FE coach expected a monster game of 40+ pts to give the win to FE this week.  Talk about unreasonable expectations .  The bonehead move of the week was FE benching Osi Umenyiora who had started weeks #1-3.  Osi exploded with 6 sacks and two forced fumbles against the Eagles who refused to double-team him all game .  Besides Brady, FE’s highest scorer was Addai this week with 18 pts.  Addai is currently the league’s 3rd best RB, right behind Westbrook (Spi) and Ronnie Brown (Dug).

The Dugongs disappointed with a 5th place finish this week.  Dug was on the way to a win this week with good games from Ronnie Brown (22.25 pts), L Coles (17.25 pts), and the Dallas defense (13.5 pts).  Even backup WR Brandon Marshall who started for the first time this year due to an injury to Boldin and S Moss being on bye was able to contribute by scoring on a short TD against the Colts.  However, everything crumbled for the Dugongs on Sunday Night with McNabb’s horrendous performance of no TD, only 138 yds passing, and three fumbles (one lost) .  So McNabb’s week #3 performance while on the bench was just a teaser for the coach to put him back in the starting lineup.

OldNo7 finished 6th with 117 pts.  The team’s highest scorer was rookie Dwayne Bowe with 24 pts.  Bowe is emerging as a quality rookie much earlier than anticipated .  He is already 2nd best rookie in the league behind Ad Peterson (Dug) and in front of M Lynch (FE).  The Chiefs D scored an impressive 16 pts on the road against the Chargers.  Old struggled this week due to S Jax being injured and R Bush being on bye, and replacements M Barber and D Foster not doing the job (6 pts and 3.75 pts).  Shockey also has to be blamed for the 6th place finish.  Shockey only scored 1.75 pt this week and he’s the 13th best TE in the league after four weeks.  Old expected more of Shockey when the team acquired him during the draft.

Wax fell from 3rd to 5th in the standings with a bad 7th place this week.  This is the team’s second straight bad week after the week #2 win.  Wax’s QB position is in shambles.  Pennington started and scored 8.5 pts against the horrible Bills.  At RB, the coach started Maroney, expecting him to play on MNF but Maroney sat out due to injury.  The other starting RB was Cadillac and his knee got crushed and his career might be over.  At WR R Moss continues to catch everything thrown his way.  He scored two more TDs and he leads all WRs in the league with an average of 25.5 pts per week.  Only Romo and Brady have done better so far.  But Moss is the only bright spot on Wax’s team.  Since Delhomme is out to injury, S Smith sucks because D Carr sucks.  S Smith only has 8.25 pts in two weeks.  Carr has declared “I should throw to him more”.  Duh!

The defending champions Spitoons will not repeat in 2007.  This team is going to the crapper.    Spi finished last for the second time in three weeks.  Injuries are not helping this team.  The coach gambled by starting Westbrook but he did not play.  Rookie Poz is out for the year and Ginn only scored one point in replacement.  Healthy players are also not doing the job.  Franchise player S Alexander scored 6.75 pts, M Harrison only scored 1.75 pt, and the Ravens D was shitty with only 0.5 pt against the Browns.  Jason Taylor is normally a strength at DL but he only scored 4 pts and he’s not even in the top 10 DL this year so far.
