The Spitoons won for the 2nd straight week and for the 4th time this season.  They moved to 9 rank-points behind the BeaudoinBrothers in the standings to keep their hopes alive.  The Spitoons were able to win despite starting emergency QB E Manning who threw 4 INTs and only scored 6 pts.  It was also an important win despite S Smith only scoring 4 pts - but he remains the top WR in the league.  Shaun Alexander carried the team again with 30 pts.  He moved in front of idle L Tomlinson as the top scorer in the league.  In his second game as a starter because T Owens is suspended, Larry Fitzgerald did well with 21 pts.  It remains to be seen if he can keep it up when Boldin returns to the lineup healthy.  The Spitoons also got a big game from the Jaguars D with 24 pts.  They are now the 3rd best defense in the league.

UncleJack got their highest score of the year with 140.25 pts and a 2nd place finish.  P Manning seems to be back.  He scored over 25 pts for the 2nd straight week and moved up to 2nd best QB behind C Palmer.  R Droughns scored 16 pts on Sunday Night against the tough Steelers D and it allowed UJ to beat the BeaudoinBrothers by less than 6 pts.  It was a nice coaching job to start him instead of C Dillon who started but ended up not playing much.  The coach did not do as well on defense.  S Rice was benched and scored 20.5 pts vs starter Kerney's 3.25 pts.  Also, D Sharper was benched and he scored 31.5 pts.  Starter Milloy scored 12 pts.  With the slowdown of OldNo7 and WaxOnWaxOff, UJ is now only 3 rank-points behind Old and 7.5 rank-points behind Wax.  The Dugongs are also within striking distance 10.5 rank-points ahead.

The BeaudoinBrothers survived missing almost half their lineup with a 3rd place.  With LT, Chad Johnson, D Edwards, O Thurman, and A Gates on bye, the BeaudoinBrothers had to start backups K Jones, L Coles, M Peterson, J Shockey and JJ Arrington.  M Peterson exploded for 26.5 pts which is the best score by a LB all year.  M Peterson surprisingly moved ahead of teamates J Vilma and D Edwards and he is now the 2nd best defensive player in the league behind Zach Thomas.  It is uncertain if the BB coaches will keep him in the starting lineup.  Tiki Barber also had a big game with over 200 total yards and a TD.  He is now the 5th best RB in the league.  Backups K Jones and L Coles struggled with only 7 and 5 pts this week.  Starters LT and CJ are needed back in the lineup.  Note the amazingly horrible job done by the BeaudoinBrothers coaches this week with an efficiency of only 62%.  The previous low was 82% in week #1.  If the coaches had started fucking kicker Longwell instead of Stover, the BBs would have won this week.  This is a big 3 rank-point swing vs the Spitoons.

FlyingElvis finished 4th with 119.5 pts this week, but moved from 9.5 rank-points to 11.5 rank-points behind UJ in the standings.  Marvin Harrison scored 19 pts and has erased a slow season start.  He is now the 5th best WR in the league.  S Moss has slowed down however.  He has only 20 pts in his last 3 games.  Rookie Matt Jones got his best game of the year with 18 pts.  He has 33 pts in the last 3 games and is now the 6th best rookie in the league.  W Witherspoon scored a TD on an INT return and got 18.5 pts, also his best game of the year.  FE would have done better this week if McGahee had not scored only 2 pts at home against the Chiefs D.  FE continues to be troubled by injuries at DB when E Reed and K Hamlin were out again.

The Dugongs struggled with 111 pts and are now seeing the Spitoons run away in 2nd place.  The Dugongs are now 10 rank-points behind 2nd place and will most likely have to concentrate on 3rd place.  The good news is that OldNo7 and Wax did worse than the Dugongs this week so the Dugongs extended their 3rd place lead to 3 rank-points on Wax.  E James continues to roll along with 17 pts.  Adrian Wilson also had a big game with 17 pts and moved up to 4th best DB in the league.  The 2nd RB position continues to be a problem however.  Tatum Bell had good games in weeks 5-6-8, but he is inconsistent and only scored 1 point this week.  Plaxico Burress has also slowed down.  He failed to reach double-digits for the 4th time in the last 5 weeks since his bye.  On defense, the Falcons D was blasted by the injured Packers and only scored 1 point.

OldNo7's fall continues.  Injuries are stacking up and the GM fails to trade to plug holes.  The team did not have a starting LB this week and it cost the team.  Cadillac Williams continues to suck with -2 pts this week.  He was outrageously dominating the rookie position after three weeks, but he has moved down to 4th best rookie.  Old's problems don't end there.  Ancient WRs J Smith and D Mason scored 12 pts combined this week.  They are 21st and 23rd best WRs in the league - this is not starter material.  Fortunately, D Jackson is supposed to be back in the next few weeks.  The Bears D led Old with 19 pts by having fun against the 49ers in the wind.  Portis also had a good game with 19 pts against the Bucs D.  J Plummer started and scored 15 pts.  He is becoming the team's clear starter at QB because A Brooks and T Green stink.

WaxOnWaxOff collapsed to last place after 5 straight weeks of 3rd and 4th places.  C Palmer was on bye and Delhomme only scored 3 pts in replacement.  Wax had 3 RBs on bye and 2 injured RBs.  The remaining 2 RBs on the roster were R Williams and M Moore.  Williams only rushed for 13 yds and scored 2 pts.  M Moore did not even get a rushing yard but scored on a kick return.  J Porter showed again why he cannot be relied upon.  After 2 good games in weeks 8-9, he only scored 4 pts this week.  He is the league's 22nd WR and is not playing to his talent level.  At LB, Ray Lewis is still injured and K Bulluck was on bye.  Andra Davis only scored 4 pts and is quickly moving down the LB rankings.  Wax's top 2 scorers were C Chambers with 20 pts and Roy Williams with 20.5 pts.  Chambers was a good addition with the trade with the BeaudoinBrothers.  Roy Williams basically gave the Cowboys the win with his late INT returned for a TD at Philly.  It was not enough to beat OldNo7 however.
