The BeaudoinBrothers won for the 2nd time this season by dominating all other teams by at least 30+ points.  The BBs were lucky to score 3 garbage TDs at the end of the Rams-Giants game.  However, even without these garbage TDs, the BeaudoinBrothers would have won anyway.  LT is the best RB in the NFL and he plays like it.  He scored 24 pts this week to follow up his 37 pts from last week.  The BeaudoinBrothers LBs scored 32.5 pts together and led the BB's defense to 42 pts total, compared to 32.75 pts for FE with the 2nd best defensive performance.  M Boulware did an ok job with 8 pts at DB in replacement for injured starter R Harrison.  The BeaudoinBrothers now increased their lead in the standings by an enormous 8 rank-points over the Dugongs .  The biggest lead ever after 4 weeks in the history of the league was only 3 rank-points in 2001 by the BeaudoinBrothers over OldNo7.  An 8 pt lead at this point of the season is more than twice the record and it would take at least 2 weeks for the BBs to drop out of first place.  The BBs opponents will have to slow them down soon if they don't want the championship to be decided by mid season.  So far the BBs have not had any major player on bye, so they will be more challenged between week #5 and #10 to keep their current pace.

The Dugongs finished 2nd by holding off FlyingElvis on MNF.  Injuries have hit the Dugongs hard at the WR position.  J Walker is out for the year, Joe Horn missed week #4, and I Bruce is out for a few weeks.  Despite all those injuries, the Dugongs have been very resilient and took over 2nd place overall in the standings which is all to their credit.  Plaxico Burress carried the team by himself with 33 pts, which was more than 25% of the entire team production.  Plax is currently ranked 3rd best WR and is currently completely playing over his 8th round pick status.  The Ravens D finally was able to do something close to the level they are capable of.  They scored 14 pts and moved up to 11th defense out of 15.

FlyingElvis finally got out of their slump by finishing 3rd with 127.25 pts .  They needed only 3 more points from A Green or W Witherspoon on MNF but they did not have good games and it cost FE one rank.  Still, this performance was welcomed by FE with relief.  The team moved to 5.5 rank-points behind UJ in the standings so they are somewhat back in the race.  M Harrison bounced back from two bad games in weeks #2 and #3 with 27 pts.  W McGahee scored 13 pts and it is unbelievable that the Bills did not use him more, with the ineptitude of the Bills passing offense in week #4.  Brady scored 11 pts but Favre scored 34 pts on the bench.  This proved a costly mistake.  S Moss scored 10 pts and he is surprisingly the 7th best WR in the league.

OldNo7 tied UJ on MNF with 112.5 pts.  The team decided to go into week #4 without a LB so management can be blamed for the half rank-point they could have easily gained.  Farrior was on a bye week while Barton and Spikes were injured.  OldNo7's WRs provided the needed spark to closely beat the Spitoons and move to 3rd place in the standings.  Old man J Smith continues to perform and he scored 19 pts.  D Jackson scored 14 pts despite behind bothered by an injury.  Cadillac Williams got injured during the game and only scored 1 pt.  If his injury lingers, it would be very painful for OldNo7 because Cadillac is clearly the best rookie in the league by far.  Cadillac is the most important player on Old's team and they cannot afford to lose him for any length of time to remain competitive.

UncleJack tied OldNo7 with a big game from N Barnett on MNF (13 pts).  The coach made the mistake of starting injured D Sharper at DX while Al Wilson and R Barber scored 14 and 9.5 pts on the bench.  The coach can also be blamed for starting the wrong QB - again.  P Manning exploded for 33 pts this week but was benched by UJ who grew impatient with his mediocre games.  Fortunately, McNabb was pretty good in his replacement with 26 pts.  Warrick Dunn scored a long TD and gained over 100 yds.  So far he has been a very productive RB and he was a bargain as the last pick of the 7th round.  M Clayton only scored 2 pts at WR.  So far he has been a big bust.  His average of only 6.3 pts per game ranks 31st of 41 WRs in the league.  This is nowhere close to what he did last year.

For the 2nd year in a row, the Spitoons followed up a monster performance in week #3 with a shitty one in week #4.  Last year, the Spitoons scored 176.5 pts in week #3 and had a minuscule 52.5 pts in week #4.  This year, the team dropped by more than 100 pts again: from 217.5 pts to 108 pts .  Other than Terrell Owens who continues to score and catch passes like a machine, most of the Spitoons fell flat.  S Smith only scored 2 pts following his 34 pts last week.  Westbrook went down from 28 pts in week #3 to 6 pts in week #4.  On defense, Zach Thomas was on bye week and his presence was missed.  Culpepper was awful for the 3rd time in 4 games with only 5 pts.  He only scored one garbage time TD against the Falcons.  His 34 pts from last week was only an illusion that he was back on track.  He now has 10 INTs and 3 fumbles lost.  The Spitoons fell back to 4th place overall in the standings.

WaxOnWaxOff expected a rough week with H Ward and the Steelers D on bye.  Some Wax players also had tough matchups.  This fear was well founded.  Week #4 was horrible as the team barely reached 100 pts.  Deion Branch only scored 1 pt despite the Pats trailing for a good portion of their game.  Branch had scored double-digit in all of the first 3 weeks so it is puzzling as to why he did not do anything this week .  Jerry Porter scored 5 pts.  This loser was acquired during the offseason from the BeaudoinBrothers and Wax paid a high price for him.  In four weeks, he scored 5, 8, 6, and 5 pts for an average of 6.0.  He ranks 32nd WR.  There is no explanation for this other than he just plain sucks.  The only good news this week was LJ Smith's continued good play.  He caught 9 passes and a TD and ranks 3rd best TE in the league.  WaxOnWaxOff's last place drops the team from 2nd place to 5th place in the standings and went from 5 rank-points behind the first place BBs to now 11 rank-points behind the BBs.
