The Decepticons won for the fifth time this year and for the second straight week in what is shaping like a late-season rush.  The Decepticons were 4.5 rank-pts from first place two weeks ago and now lead the BeaudoinBrothers by 0.5 rank-pt.  This week, the Decepticons crushed every other team by over 30 pts.  Donnie Edwards had a monster game with a TD, two INTs, 9 tackles, 7 assists, and 4 passes defended.  His total of 37 pts completely surpassed the season's highest score by a defensive player which was J Peppers (Spi) with 24 pts in week #12.  DB Brian Russell also had a big game with 18.5 pts.  The Ravens D had fun with E Manning by scoring 21 pts.  No wonder why nobody was interested in trading for E Manning earlier this year.  Since being name starter for the Giants, he has scored -3 pts in four games.  The Decepticons' WRs also had good games with 14 pts (C Johnson) and 17 pts (J Horn).  With three weeks to go, the Decepticons are now clearly favorites because the team is hot and they have fewer players that could potentially be benched in week #17.

OldNo7 finished 2nd for the second straight week and moved to only 2.5 rank-points of UJ in fifth place.  P Holmes is out for the year, but C Portis is starting to play better.  With 18 pts this week, that gives him 41 pts in the last two weeks.  That's almost half the points he scored between week #2 and week #12 (86 pts).  WR Torry Holt is taking advantage of Bulger's injury.  Replacement C Chandler sucks, but he is only looking at Holt so they will connect once in a while.  Holt scored 21 pts, the second straight weeks he is over 20 pts.  Rookie Kevin Jones is another reason why OldNo7 has been doing better recently.  He has also scored 20+ pts in the last two weeks.  Trent Green scored 22 pts on MNF to edge UJ in 2nd place.

UncleJack took advantage of TJ Duckett's best game of the year with 4 TDs but came up short in beating OldNo7.  P Manning's 20 pts was his lowest score since week #5.  Domanick Davis had another good week with 22 pts.  This is the 4th time in the last six weeks that he scored 17+ pts.  After a slow start, he is now the league's 8th best RB.  Rookie Clayton bounced back from his season low 1 pt in week #13 with 22 pts this week.  Keyshawn Johnson can be blamed for UncleJack not beating OldNo7.  He only caught 2 passes and even threw an INT.  UJ saw his lead on OldNo7 reduced, but moved to only 4.5 rank-pts of the struggling Spitoons.

The BeaudoinBrothers escaped a bad week with a 4th place.  Keith Bulluck came up big with 14.5 pts on MNF to save the BeaudoinBrothers from what could have been their first last place in the last 29 weeks.  The league record is 45 weeks established by the BeaudoinBrothers between 1997 and 2000.  On offense, the BeaudoinBrothers were horrible.  McNabb only scored 10 pts, which was his 3rd worse game of the year.  J Lewis is still injured and only played a few snaps.  All the injuries at the RB position are hurting the BeaudoinBrothers.  Moulds and A Johnson disappointed with only 4 pts each.  They could soon be replaced by A Boldin who is getting better every week from his knee injury. Gates only scored 1 pt so his last two weeks are his worse two games of the year, which is somewhat worrysome.  The BeaudoinBrothers were clearly saved by defense with Schobel scoring 10.5 pts, Bruschi 16 pts, and R Harrison 15 pts (in addition to Bulluck).  The BeaudoinBrothers have to beat the Decepticons in week #15 if they want to keep hope of the league's title because McNabb and LT may be benched in week #17 since their team will want to rest them.

WaxOnWaxOff had another bad week with only 120.5 pts.  Unless there is a very surprising turnaround, Wax will not do better than 3rd place this year.  They extended their lead on the Spitoons by beating them by half a point this week.  Deuce McAllister had his best game of the year with 20 pts against the Dallas Shit Unit.  However, Wax's WRs were horrible with T Owens 6 pts and J Walker only 4 pts.  A Crumpler had another off game with only 2 pts.  C Palmer got injured during his game but scored 15 pts nonetheless.  He is one of the few bright spots for Wax in the last few weeks, but injuries are again hitting hard.

The Spitoons finished last for the third time in the last five weeks.  This team is going nowhere but down.  S Moss continues to suck with 4 pts this week.  He his the 26th WR in the league.  Zach Thomas' injury is hurting the team.  D Brooks only scored 4 pts in Thomas' absence.  But nobody on the team stepped up with a big game anyway.  Westbrook scored 9 pts, Favre 13 pts, and Larry Fitzgerald 6 pts.  These scores are below average for all of them.  With three weeks left, the Spitoons still have a chance to catch Wax in 3rd place, but it is more likely that UJ will pass the Spitoons at the rate things are going.  The Spitoons were very hot between weeks #6-9 and the coach was boasting.  This is coming back to haunt him because the team only has 9 rank-points in the last 5 weeks, which will bring any team down in the standings in a heartbeat.
