The Decepticons won their 4th week of the season (tied with the BeaudoinBrothers) and moved up to 2nd place in the overall standings by cutting the BeaudoinBrothers' lead to 2.5 rank-points.  It is looking more and more like this year will be a two team race.  The Decepticons are behind at this point, but have the healthier team.  Julius Jones scored 34 pts in his first start for the Decepticons.  He could be key down the stretch.  E James scored twice in addition to getting his usual 100 yards.  With Portis being a bust, Portis/Price for James/Horn turned out to be a nice trade during the draft.  James is the 5th best RB and Portis is 11th.  Joe Horn is the 3rd best WR in return for P Price who is 29th.  Chad Johnson also scored 2 TDs for the Decepticons this week.  He has scored double digits in his last five games.

OldNo7 finished in the top 2 for the first time this season.  Portis had a rare good game with 23 pts.  He had only scored 12 pts in his last three games.  Trent Green and Torry Holt each scored over 25 pts.  Rookie Kevin Jones had his best game of the season with 23 pts.  This was not enough for Old to beat Dec.  Note that the Chiefs scored negative points for the 5th time in 6 weeks.  Old is getting killed because the Raiders D is not any better.  With a 2nd place, OldNo7 is now officially eliminated.  All the early season trash talking was just smoke once again.  Old has improved their chances of getting out of last place by closing the gap with UJ to 3.5 rank-points.

The BeaudoinBrothers stayed in 1st place overall with a 3rd place.  The team continues to be slowed down by the absence of J Lewis.  Barlow has been ineffective and is now injured.  The good news is that LT seems to be getting healthier.  Since his bye week, he has scored 20, 18, and 20 pts.  He has climbed to 4th best RB and could soon take over S Alexander and Tiki Barber who have slowed down recently.  McNabb saved the BeaudoinBrothers from a bad week when he exploded with 45 pts against the Packers.  McNabb has moved in front of Culpepper as the 2nd highest scoring player in the league.  He has proved to be a nice pickup during the draft.  He was drafted even though the team already had Vick because the BeaudoinBrothers GMs thought they should draft the best available player rather than picking players at positions where they had a need (they still did not have a WR at that time).

The Spitoons kept their lead on UJ with a decent performance of 142 pts.  Brian Westbrook scored 35 pts against the Packers.  D Jackson took advantage of the shitty Cowboys D to get over 20 pts for the 2nd time this year.  As the 13th best WR, he remains a disappointment.  The Bucs D dominated Vick and the Falcons with a shutout and 5 turnovers.  M Bulger's injury early in the game prevented the Spitoons to beat the BeaudoinBrothers.  The Spitoons are now 8 pts away from 1st place and they need a huge performance real fast to keep hope.

UncleJack could not continue on their last season rush and finished 5th.  Manning threw for "only" three TDs but he threw two INTs and lost one fumble.  The RB position has come back to hurt UJ.  D Davis only scored 9 pts and Duckett 2 pts.  Rookie Clayton was held to a single point which was his worst game of the year.  He has moved down to 4th best rookie.  The Patriots D was dominant with 24 pts.  The rest of UJ's defense was below average with only 25.5 pts for the four individual starters.  UJ is now 7.5 pts behind the Spitoons and their hopes of finishing in the top half of the standings are going down.

WaxOnWaxOff got hammered and scored a ridiculous 94.5 pts this week.  All the injuries at the LB position cannot even be blamed for this meltdown.  Deuce McAllister was awful again with -2 pts.  He has been a huge disappointment this year as he is the 19th best RB.  That's not very good for a 1st round pick.  Wax may decide to not give him the franchise player tag since he has played so badly this season.  Randy Moss was given the start over Javon Walker and this was a bad decision.  Moss only caught 4 passes and found a way to fumble.  Crumpler only scored 1 pt (his season low).  The Steelers also had their worst game of the season with only 3.5 pts.  Rookie Colbert got his lowest score of the year since he is a starter (week 2 when Steve Smith got injured).  Wax moved down to 3rd place and they are now 6 pts back of the BeaudoinBrothers.  Their championship odds just took a big hit.
