WaxOnWaxOff won for the second straight week.  This week they crushed all opponents and suddenly moved from 4th to 1st place overall in the standings.  The preseason favorites had a rough start but are now dominant.  When Randy Moss comes back, it will be even better.  T Owens had another huge week with 34 pts.  He leads all WRs in the league by almost 5 pts.  With Tiki Barber, it's a broken record, but he scored in the high teens again.  It will be interesting to see how he performs with E Manning as the starter at QB.  Jake Delhomme was given another start for Wax and he performed better than expected with 30 pts.  With two excellent games in a row, he moved up to 10th best QB in the league.  The Steelers D is also on fire.  They scored 22.5 pts and almost caught the Ravens as the best D in the league.

UncleJack had a 2nd strong week in the last three weeks with 165.5 pts.  P Manning threw for 5 more TDs against the Texans.  It is interesting to note that the Colts' coach let him throw bombs even though the Colts were already ahead by several touchdowns in the 4th quarter.  If Manning gets injured later in the year in a blowout game, Dungy will have nobody else to blame but himself.  Domanick Davis has been coming alive recently.  He scored 17 pts last week and 22 pts this week.  With TJ Duckett's 14 pts, it was the best week for UJ at the RB position.  Note that M Clayton scored 17 pts and has quietly moved in 2nd place of the rookie standings, slightly behind Roy Williams from the Spitoons.

The Decepticons had a better than average week with 141.5 and finished 3rd.  Culpepper once again carried the team with 35 pts.  Joe Horn exploited the shitty Chiefs D and scored 21 pts.  Otherwise it was a pretty mediocre performance by the Decepticons.  E James scored 10 pts and M Faulk scored 8 pts.  Not awful, but the team needs more from its RBs.  The TE position continues to be a problem.  LJ Smith only scored 2 pts and that was on two special team tackles (no receptions).  Smith has not done much since week #2, he is only a backup TE for the Eagles, and the Decepticons are reportedly actively looking for a TE before the trade deadline.  Rumors circulate saying that E Manning has been offered.  It would be surprising to see anybody in the league interested in the rookie QB for the Giants.  The Giants have a tough schedule for the rest of the year and their offensive line is the worst in the league, having allowed already 40 sacks.  This is 7 more than any other team in the NFL.  The Decepticons are fully responsible for having no quality TE.  They traded J Witten to OldNo7 earlier this season for M Bennett who has been a bust.

The BeaudoinBrothers lost a rank by 3 pts or less for the fourth time in 10 weeks (and have not won a rank by less than 5.5 pts this year).  They have definitely been hurt by bad luck in that respect.  The Cowboys' D is the shittiest unit on the planet.  The BeaudoinBrothers coaches hesitated and thought about starting the Dolphins D even though they were on bye.  They gave a vote of confidence to the Shit Unit and it cost the team 4th place.  The Shit Unit scored -10 pts and their season average has moved down to a whopping 0.9 pt per game.  The team was also playing without LT and A Gates.  Barlow did well as LT's replacement but got minus 13 yards in the 2nd half and that lost point was very costly.  Jamal Lewis has yet to explode since his suspension and is dying for Jonathan Ogden to return from his injury.  The BeaudoinBrothers fell to fourth place but are only one point behind Wax and Spi in 1st place.  The BeaudoinBrothers have historically done very well in the 2nd half of the last few years so they remain a team to watch even though they have disappointed in the last three weeks.  UPDATE: The Keith Bulluck was allowed 1.0 sack instead of 0.5 sack by the NFL as they changed the stats after the gamebook was published.  Therefore, the BeaudoinBrothers have beat OldNo7 by half a point.

OldNo7 got an outstanding performance from J Witten with 29 pts on MNF to edge the BeaudoinBrothers by 0.75 pt.  OldNo7 raped the Decepticons in that trade.  Witten is now the 2nd best TE in the league, in front of Tony Gonzalez.  The other player acquired in that trade is Derrick Mason and he scored 19 pts this week.  Mason's average before the trade: 8.0.  Mason's average since the trade: 14.5.  What a trade.  Lawyer Milloy scored 15 pts at DB.  He has helped Old's defense a lot since his return from injury.  He is the league's 3rd best DB.  Rookie Kevin Jones is improving.  He has scored 7 pts or more in three of his last four games.

The Spitoons crashed after four straight good weeks and finished last.  If the Seahawks' offense does not do well, it's hard for the Spitoons to dominate.  S Alex, K Rob, and D Jackson did not score a TD and got a combined 19 pts.  The team's best defensive player Zach Thomas was on a bye week and backup D Brooks only scored 4 pts.  Rookie Roy Williams seems to still be bothered by his injury.  He only has one game over 5 pts since week #3.  B Favre scorched the Vikings D with 31 pts and is now the league's 5th best QB.  Not bad for this old freak.  The Spitoons are now tied with Wax in 1st place and only 1 pt in front of the BeaudoinBrothers and 0.5 pt in front of the Decepticons.  The standings cannot get any closer.
