The BeaudoinBrothers won for the second time in four weeks this year.  Going back to last year, it is the team's 5th win in 9 weeks.  The BeaudoinBrothers did not light up the scoreboard, but 127 was enough to beat the opposition by a pretty big margin in what was a very low scoring week.  Most players on the team were average or good, but nobody stood out.  LT performed well with 19 pts.  McNabb had a below average game with 10 pts.  Andre Johnson caught 6 passes for 100+ yds and a TD.  Shockey scored his first TD of the year.  Rookie LB Jonathan Vilma scored 8 pts - this was the best performance by a rookie for the BeaudoinBrothers this year.  Vilma brings much needed help to the team especially with Winslow out for the year.  This performance made the BeaudoinBrothers jump from 3rd place to 1st place in the standings.  The BeaudoinBrothers are the only team that has not scored less than 125 pts this year.  Note that last place team OldNo7 has yet to score more than 120 pts!

WaxOnWaxOff finished tied for 2nd for the second straight week.  The team has not caught fire yet, but is starting to do better.  Wax moved to 3rd place in the standings.  With Hasselbeck on bye, Brady did very well at Buffalo with 21 pts.  T Owens scored another TD and scored 19 pts.  He is currently the best WR in the PQBFL.  The Steelers D dominated the Bengals at home and scored 15 pts.  Like Owens, they lead the league at their position.  Other than that, Wax's players did not do very well.  Thomas Jones only scored 6 pts.  Rex Grossman's absence may affect him for the rest of the year with opposing defenses focusing on stopping the run.  Chris Brown disappointed with only 5 pts against the Chargers.  Toomer started because R Moss was on bye and scored only 4 pts.  We can bet we won't see him anytime soon in Wax's starting lineup.  Carson Palmer continues to disappoint and threw for a TD but was picked off twice.

UncleJack got their best finish of the season with a 2nd place (tied).  The coach gambled by playing D Davis who was questionable.  The coach probably thought that it was better to gamble with D Davis that to start the useless TJ Duckett.  The gamble did not pay off.  Duckett ended up scoring 10 pts while D Davis did not play.  The coach has made several mistakes this year and can be blamed to explain why the team is stuck in 5th place.  One bright spot is Patrick Kerney who continues to absolutely dominate his position.  Kerney got 8 tackles, 1 assist, 2 sacks and one forced fumble in another eye-popping performance.  Kerney has an average of 13.4 pts so far while the 2nd best DL has only 9.0.  D Sharper got an INT against the Giants.  Him and Kerney helped UJ to score 48.5 pts on defense, the best score in the league this week.

OldNo7 missed a golden opportunity to beat Wax and UJ and move up in the standings on Monday Night.  Holmes was good, but not enough.  He scored 20 pts and went back to #1 RB in the league.  Jamie Sharper was the team's best scorer with 23 pts.  He had 7 tackles, 2 assists, 1 sack, 1 pass defended, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and a TD!  Just by himself he scored more points than the entire defensive team in weeks #1 and #2.  It was the first time this year that a defensive player did the job for OldNo7.  S Ellis, J Farrior, and R Tongue were again very disappointing with a combined 13 pts.  Note that OldNo7 is getting impatient with C Portis' fumbles.  He got another one this week and only scored 8 pts.  He is currently the 10th best RB, which is not as good as expected for a 1st round pick.

The Decepticons almost finished 2nd again, but this time came up short on Monday Night football.  The Ravens D scored a TD but otherwise were dominated by Priest.  The Decepticons failed to reach 100 pts and were passed by the BeaudoinBrothers in the standings.  This is the first time since week #9 last year that the team is not in 1st place.  Drew Bledsoe scored 10 pts against the Pats D, which is decent in the absence of Culpepper who was on bye week.  I Bruce continued to do better than expected with a 4th straight 100 yd game.  He is currently the 5th best WR in the league.  However, several Dec players underperformed this week.  Duce Staley lost TDs to Bettis again, and he also had 2 fumbles and only scored 4 pts.  Joe Horn and the entire Saints team was bad and he only scored 8 pts.  The team acquired LJ Smith in a trade because Mili and Witten were on a bye week.  Smith ended up not catching a pass at all.  The team may regret this trade because they are now stuck with two below average TEs and newly acquired Michael Bennett re-injured his knee and will be out for a few more weeks.  If LJ Smith does not improve, this trade will be costly for the Decepticons.

The Spitoons played an absolute stinker this week, after scoring the league's best score of the year in week #3.  It is pretty hard to win two weeks in a row in this league and the Spitoons made it obvious.  The coach had several players on a bye week, and probably decided to go on a bye week himself because he started them all (K Robinson, D Jackson, S Alexander, and Roy Williams).  But the coach cannot even be blamed for the loss, because even the backups were awful.  The entire Spitoons team (starters and backups) only scored 160 pts, which is less than the starters in week #3!  B Favre came back to earth and only scored 7 pts.  Nobody knows what's going on with A Green who only scored 5 pts and is currently 14th best RB in the league.  The rest of the team was as bad except Zach Thomas who was the only one to score more than 8 pts.
