The BeaudoinBrothers registered their first win of the season, and going back to last year, this is the team's 4th win in the last six weeks.  The BeaudoinBrothers dominated all their opponents with 153.5 pts.  McNabb had another great game with 31 pts on MNF.  He does not intend to fuck around this season.  He is on fire with 7 TDs and no turnovers.  LT and Jamal Lewis failed to reach 100 yds rushing, but scored 3 TDs together.  Andre Johnson et Moulds only caught 5 passes combined, but 2 of those were for TDs.  That gave a total of 8 TDs to the BeaudoinBrothers.  The Cowboys D clobbered the Browns and scored 16.5 pts.  The other big scorer for the BeaudoinBrothers this week was Rodney Harrison who justified being the first DB taken in the draft with 16.5 pts.  He had 2 sacks, one pass defended, and one forced fumble.  He currently leads the league at DB with 11.8 pts on average, closely in front of Nick Harper from the Decepticons with 11.0 pts.  All is not great with the BeaudoinBrothers however.  Rookie TE Winslow only scored one point and broke his leg on an onside kick at the end of the game.  LB Bruschi disappointed with only one point.

The Decepticons kept the first place overall in the standings with a second place.  Going back to the beginning of 2003, this is the 13th time in 19 weeks that the Decepticons are first or second.  The team beat an opponent by less than 2 pts for the second straight week.  This time, Culpepper did enough on MNF to beat the Spitoons by 1.5 pt.  E James led the team with 22 pts.  The Ravens also did well with 17.5 pts, which was a nice recovery about a mediocre opening game.  It is becoming evident that the Decepticons have a weakness at the 2nd RB position.  M Faulk only scored 8 pts, and that was thanks to a 1-yard TD because he only rushed for 20 yds.  His glory days are clearly over.  In week #2, the team's other RBs did not impress either.

The Spitoons finished 3rd for the second straight week.  They managed to score 126 pts and the team's leaders were not those that we could expect.  Rookie Roy Williams is benefiting from Charles Rogers' injury and he scored 20 pts.  Julius Peppers got 2 sacks and one forced fumble for 14 pts.  He currently leads the league at DL.  Zach Thomas and Brian Urlacher scored a combined 28 pts.  This was more than the entire defensive team of Wax (25.5 pts) and Old (14 pts).  The Spitoons coach is the same as last year, and although he has better players, he is still making dumb calls.  The coach started injured Greg Wesley and that cost the team the 2nd place.  The team can also blame its core players for not beating the Decepticons.  The QB, RBs, and WRs scored together only 37 pts, which is barely 7 pts each on average.  That won't cut it in this league.

OldNo7 improved from last week's 5th place and finished 4th.  Aaron Brooks came off the bench and kicked ass with 28 pts.  Torry Holt had a strong game with 22 pts.  However, the team is getting killed by its awful defense.  Last week, the four defensive starters only scored 14.5 pts and everybody thought it could not be worse.  Well think again.  With only 14 pts this week, OldNo7's defense is simply giving up too much to opponents to be able to catch up with their decent offense.  KGB, Jamie Sharper, and Reggie Tongue only got 2 or 3 tackles+assists each.  The sad thing is that there are no backups that are performing well at the moment, so this may be an on-going problem for the team.  M Barrow going back from an injury (eventually) may be the only hope.  During the draft, the team's GM was heard saying "all defensive players are the same" when explaining why the team was drafting defensive players late.  Right now it looks like a big mistake.

UncleJack had another decent week but lost by a few points to OldNo7.  Pennington was the team leader with 18 pts.  Randy McMichael is having a nice start to the season as he scored 10 pts, following his great week #1 game.  He is currently the 2nd best TE in the league.  On defense, the team was very solid with a total of 37 pts.  Kerney got 2 sacks and one pass defended for 10.5 pts.  He is the 2nd best DL in the league.  Barnett scored 12 pts and Darren Sharper had an INT and 12.5 pts.  If UncleJack had scored 13.5 more points, they would have finished 2nd - a huge difference.  The coach should be crucified for starting the Titans D (-1 pt) against the Colts instead of the Pats D (15 pts) against the Cards - a 16 point swing.  What the hell was he thinking?

WaxOnWaxOff went from league favorites to last place and injury plagued in week #2.  First round pick Deuce McAllister injured his ankle and is lost for a few weeks.  Fifth round pick Todd Heap also got injured and will lose time.  Even if McAllister and Heap had not gotten injured, the team was going nowhere anyway.  Rookie Palmer was ineffective against the Dolphins D with only one point.  On defense, Wax only scored 25.5 pts.  The Steelers D could not get a turnover and allowed 23 pts to the Ravens, for a score of only 4 pts.  Brady could not reach double-digits against the Cards.  Moss and Owens were the only bright spots on MNF with 15 and 16 pts but it was a lost cause by the time Sunday was over.
