2003 Week #4
3rd Place BeaudoinBrothers 105 pts
WaxOnWaxOff won for the second straight week and is now only one point behind Decepticons at the top of the standings. Wax was having a very average week until Tomlinson and Harrison finally exploded and had games up to their potential.
Decepticons finished second for the fourth straight week. They are getting regular production from every position. Stephen Davis and Lamar Gordon came through at the right time because Ricky Williams was on a bye week. Sharpe had his best game of the season and he is currently the second best TE in the league.
The BeaudoinBrothers were expecting the worst with S Alexander on a bye week, T Henry out with an injury, and Portis questionable. The BeaudoinBrothers intentionally took the risk and started Portis and lost the gamble. They lost by only one point against the Decepticons, which hurts. Moss had a huge game with 37 points. But until Portis comes back healthy, the BeaudoinBrothers are in trouble.
OldNo7 made a great comeback on Monday Night football with A Green’s performance but came up short, three points behind the BeaudoinBrothers and four points behind Decepticons. P Holmes was held out of the end zone for the first time of the season. McNabb continues to struggle. He his the 21st QB in the PQBFL with a putrid average of 2 points per game.
The Spitoons are celebrating because they did not finish last. Bulger had a good game with 21 points against the Cards. The Panthers D and Janikowski are the only other Spitoons to scored double-digits, which is not a good sign.
UncleJack finished last with 60 pts, only 2.5 pts behind Spitoons. The coach put Garcia in the game against the Vikings instead of Manning against the Saints. Garcia scored -6 pts and Manning scored 49 pts: a 55 pt swing. UncleJack would have finished second if they started Manning. Ouch. Jamal Lewis continues his awesome season and scored 18 pts this week in the only bright spot for UncleJack.
