2003 Week #3
1st Place WaxOnWaxOff 92.5 pts
2nd Place Decepticons 91.5 pts
5th Place BeaudoinBrothers 48 pts
The league favorites this year WaxOnWaxOff got their first win of the season with a close win against the Decepticons. The Seahawks duo of Hasselbeck and K Rob continues to shine. Hasselbeck is currently the best QB in the league and K Rob is tied for 3rd best WR.
The Decepticons hold on to first place in the league after three weeks. They got their third straight second place. Rookie Andre Johnson exploded for 25 pts. Ricky Williams's touchdown late Sunday night allowed the team to beat OldNo7. The Dolphins overused Williams with 42 rushes. One can wonder in what shape Williams will be in December if the coach is stupid enough to give him 42 carries for a September game. December swoon is bound to repeat itself for the Dolphins.
The unstoppable Priest Holmes led the way for OldNo7 to a solid 3rd place. Holmes scored two more TDs for a total of eight after three weeks. Of course he is the best player in the PQBFL so far. OldNo7 continues to struggle at QB though. McNabb is the worst QB in the league right now and Trent Green scored only 8 pts this week.
UncleJack managed to get 4th place with only 74 pts because of the Ravens. Jamal Lewis scored 16 more pts and he is surprisingly the 2nd best player in the league so far. Todd Heap also had a good week for UncleJack. However, life is not too rosy for the defending champion. Charlie Garner is going nowhere (zero points in week #3), and UncleJack's QBs are not playing well when they start.
The BeaudoinBrothers got crushed for a second consecutive week. They scored only 48 pts this week, the second worst performance in the franchise's history (47 pts in week #9 last year is the worst). Gannon and the Raiders's passing game has been solved by opposing defenses. Gannon has not scored a TD and got less than 150 passing yards for two straight weeks. Portis got injured during the game and saw backup Mike Anderson score a touchdown for the second straight week. Moss has not done anything for the second straight week. In summary, the BeaudoinBrothers have many problems on their roster.
The Spitoons's nightmare start of season continues. They scored a shitty 39 pts. Faulk is having the worst season of his career. Horn caught only one pass in week #3. Bulger was the brightest spot on the team with 11 pts, but that's only an average performance by a QB.
