Week #11

Weekly summary provided by GloriousBastards!

Decepticons finally got off the schneid with highest score for the first time this season.  Harris and Montgomery finally woke up though facing mediocre to bad defenses helped, but it was IDP that dominated this week, Trey Hendrickson leading the way with 2 sacks and 16.5 points and a solid outing by rookie WR Pickens.  Dec now has an outside shot at 3rd place.

Bastards finished 2nd for the 2nd week in a row, with a monster 28 points from Davante Adams in what was supposed to be a tough matchup with Patrick Surtain.  Parsons and Pickett also had solid games, to help GB tie Elvis for third place and provide an outside shot at 2nd place.

Beaudoin edged out Elvis by 3 points and Wax by 6 to take 3rd thanks to another monster Kelce game, who’s leading all other TEs by a whopping 6 ppg.  Kelce and Henry helped make up for poor WR performances and Mixon injury-shortened low score, along with a surprise performance by rookie Wandale Robinson.

Elvis came within 3 points of 3rd, and only needed a little more from his 3 best players, but Taylor, Ekeler, and Lamb were all under projections.  Cooper, Kittle, and Baltimore D all came up big to salvage 4th by only 3 points to hold a tie for 3rd YTD and an outside shot at 2nd.

Wax had the short end of the stick by missing 3rd and 4th place by 6 and 3 points, thanks to inexplicable performances by Barkley, Jefferson, and Allen.  Bass and NE had huge games but were wasted performances, though Wax still leads YTD by 8 points and looks good for the title unless lightning strikes all his stars a few more times.

Admirals edged Old for 6th place by only 2 points, despite a bad day for Chubb and Jones, thanks Maxx Crosby’s 22 points and rookie Watson’s second solid game in a row.

Old’s 7th place finish can be safely blamed solely on Nick Folk, who missed from 43 and 44 yards that cost a spot, but McCaffrey, Kamara, and Moore also came up way short.  Only Prescott scored above 14 points for Old.

ProfMJ finished in the bottom 3 for the eighth time this season, with only Burrow and Bolton scoring above 10, and likely losing Pitts for the season, which should cement the 1st pick in the draft next season.  Keeping Pollard on the bench was not helpful, and led to the lowest coaching efficiency of the week.

Ballers finished last for the 3rd time this season, due mainly to Cook’s inexplicable performance, along with poor LB and DB scores.
